Additionally the AliTech Shifter was conceived with adjustability in mind. With plenty of positions to mount the shifter cables to the mechanism, you can choose up to 32 shifting combitations allowing you to fine-tune the amount of throw available between gears.

Not a one-trick-pony
Being well aware of the Lotus tuning scene, the AliTech shifter has the flexibilty of working on standard Toyota driveterains as well as aftermarket Honda units. So, if you're planning on a drivetrain swap at somepoint down the line, you'll be safe in the knowledge that your shifter will still be the perfect fit.

Versatile fitment
Designed from the ground up, the AliTech Shifter was initially created to replace a standard shifters in a series 1 Exige. Since then, it has since been developed to fit in Series 1, 2 & 3 Exige & Elise models running Toyota 4 cyl, Toyota V6 and Honda powertrains. We've even had customers fit them to other cars in the Lotus line-up!
With verstility in mind, specific LHD and RHD fixing kits have been developed allowing specific fitment to the respective cars.

Since the inception of our billet creation back in 2014, we have been very fortunate to have manufactured literally hundreds of AliTech Shifters for Customers all across the globe.
As we continue to look towards providing complex machining capabilities to customers in F1, WEC, WRC and more, our business model has become more focused.
We're going to miss the AliTech Shifter - it's put us on the map in a big way. However, we have always put our passion for engineering solutions first, and with more complex work coming to us on a daily basis it is time to say goodbye to the AliTech Shifter.
We never say never, but certainly for the foreseeable future there are no plans to manufacture this or a replacement shifter.
